So folks lately I’ve been listening to some good old music and found one of my favourite songs – Supergirl by Reamon. OH MY GOD one of my favourite bands when I was a Teenager! You might think: does it have something to do with your Blogname? Yes! obviously…isn’t it? 🙂 well the reason why I choose this nickname (way before I started this blog) is that I really wanted to be a Supergirl like wonderwoman or superman…you know; Fly, save the world and live happily ever after. 😉 Anyway as time went by I realised that the only way to be a supergirl is to be yourself…no, really ..it’s true…dont’ want to sound boring but I think that this mainstream message is really essential. I used to be like other people ..you know, dress like this, behave like that etc…but this was making me unhappy and I was just another copy of the mainstream girl next door…so I changed and started to do my own thing. I always said to myself: you only life once and nobody can tell how your life has to be…like work, get married, have kids etc…maybe mainstream message is a help message from the mainstream people becuase they are frustrated? hahaha ok I’m getting to philosophic…….haha I leave you here with the song of my life …or not 😉 – Supergirl – ENJOY!

Family cooking!
A few weeks ago I cooked something for my family. My brother helped me a little bit although he had to study for an exam…he is studying engineering in Zurich. However He loves to help me in the kitchen…ok, not always but sometimes 😊 Our creation this time was chicken in a champignon sauce, served in a pepperoni with salad. Yummi! 😁 I must say I added too much cream, but it tasted delicious!
Late post
So folks, I’m back! Sorry for the delay but I was busy doing…you know stuff 😄 anyway! I cooked a loooot of stuff I want to show you in the next few days. So, keep following me 😉 won’t let you wait again. And also, i’m flying to New York in two weeks, so there is gonna be a looot of posts about the city that never sleeps. Oh yeah, and if the weather is fine, we will also have a short trip to Montréal and Quebec. 😁 yeah, cool huh?
Veggie is on!
Today I went with two school mates to this famous vegetarian Restaurant Hiltl. Just wow! There is a big buffet with vegetables, salad and other delicous stuff. 😀 I strongly recomend this place to everybody, not only for vegetarians. I must admit it’s 
a bit expensive but the food is absolutley amazing and worth it! you find more information under: http://www.hiltl.ch/de. Anyway, I thought I could cook more vegetarian stuff at home…maybe I’ll make falafel with my friend this week…let’s see 😀
METALLICA FOREVER!
This weekend I went with my cousin and boyfriend to the metallica concert at the sonisphere in basel. It was just amazing! At the beginning it was a bit frustrating beacuase they took long to start the show and in addition the fifa worldcup match between germany and france took place at the same time…however we first went to a pizeria near the stadion where we enjoyed the first part of the game with a good meal then walked to the stadium. It was full as hell…we walked our way towards and found a nice place where we watched the show. after the first three songs it started to rain and thunder. The atmosphere was just perfect! We got wet but it was AMAZING! this was my 3rd metallica concert in 10 Years and I must say the guys got really old…but hey, they still have metal and power!
Vierwaldstättersee
Lovely vierwaldstättersee in Switzerland! we enjoyed an amazing sunny day in beckenried and ate a “Nidwaldner Platte”…fresh dry meat with cheese and breat OH YEAH! with cold beer and applecider 😀 delicious!
Sushi happened!
I finally did it! I ate sushi after a lot of years running away and missing sushi parties with friends I did it! well unfortunately the occasion for this high class dinner was not a good one…it was my best friends goodbye party 😦 snif snif who has by the way also a food and travel blog: http://coups-de-coeur.tumblr.com/ she is now travelling arround north and south america 😉 check it out! …missing her already! 😦
however, YEEEESSSS I like sushi…it’s not my absolute favourite but its good…the taste is a bit special due to the alga…..anyway I can eat it and be part of the sushi social event now 😉 hahaha we also did the sushi by ourselves. A friend says that is better to do sushi by myself because its fresh and tastes better..PLUS you can add whatever you want in the roll…for instance avocado, vegetables or even mayonnaise! hahahaha 😀
The lucky week…
This week has been the luckiest week ever! I received an excelent mark for my bachelor thesis and we got the apartment next door wich is very nice! 2 bedroom apartment with sea view garden and loggia for not much money :D I am so excited! can’t wait to move in!!! :D …..today I had the second interview for probably the most interesting job I applied for. I was very nervous and don’t know if they will take me…anyway I’m still nervous ..hehehe just want to be released sooon! Acoording to Blick am Abend (Swiss newspapaer) horoscope I’m having a lucky week! So I thought, if I get the job wich would be amazing, then it’s a sign for me to play lottery hehehehe…:D just in case…you never know..hehehe….ok wish me luck! :)
What the Chervil..?
This wednesday my boyfriend drove me home to wädenswil where my father lives. I thought it would be great to cook something healthy for my family… as it is now season I bought some asparagus at this new shopping center near the highway… I took a recipe from the magazin annemarie wildeisen’s KOCHEN 😀 just love this magazine! they have very nice recipes… Did I mentioned that I always get this magazine for free? cool he? 😉 anyway the dish is called asparagus with ham 🙂 it is very healthy
and delicious. While I was cooking I forgot to add some “chervil”…didn’t know what the hell that is but the dish still tasted very good :D…I added some coriander instead mmhhh…LOVE CORIANDER!!!…anyway next time I’ll try it with kerbel (german ;)) maybe it tastes bad hehehe
celebration first anniversary
Luzern anniversary!
This weekend I created a masterpiece of meal with my boyfriend due to our first anniversary 😀 It took us 1 hour to cook the pasta pie. I got this brilliant Idea from a Instagram picture I found a few months ago. Doesn’t it look great? I always wanted to cook it, but I never had time. For dessert we prepared strawberry with mascarpone and amaretti cookies. I must say it was delicious!
